Projects for 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies

Throughout the year, students are expected to complete a variety of projects. These projects are designed to prepare them for their New York State social studies exam, high school, and the responsibilities of a citizen in a democratic society. They are counted as assessments in the students final grades. In addition, portfolios are reviewed in promotional considerations at the close of the year, and the Exit Project is a promotional requirement for both seventh and eighth graders.
